Kanban India is a community platform for Global Thought Leaders and Specialists to share knowledge, experience and expertise on Lean, Kanban and spread awareness about related concepts.
A Speaker is an individual representing themselves, who has shown interest in presenting a session on a relevant topic and is selected by Kanban India through a review process to speak about their session topic at the conference and/or participate as a Panelist Speaker in a panel discussion at the conference.
All speakers, sponsors, volunteers and participants at our conference events are required to abide by the following guidelines and agree to all the terms and conditions mentioned in this policy.
Kanban India engages speakers on non-commercial terms for presenting their sessions and/or participating in panel discussions at conferences. Kanban India does not pay or charge any fee for speaking at the conference.
All speakers are responsible for ensuring that appropriate citations and references are provided to the original sources and authors. Speakers must use only authorized content and obtain the necessary permissions when using third-party materials during their sessions, talks and presentations.
Speakers must ensure that there is no intellectual property or copyright breach or violation and must obtain all necessary approvals from their respective employers to present and participate at the conference. Kanban India will not be liable for any copyright breach committed by speakers, and any related notifications or issues must be handled directly by the respective speaker.
A conference kit is a pre-packaged paper or jute bag provided to participants and speakers as part of sponsor or conference deliverables. This promotional kit may include diaries, flyers, t-shirts, cups, stationery items, discount coupons and other similar items.
The kit or bag is considered a token of respect or appreciation and is not mandatory to accept. Speakers and participants are responsible for accepting or declining the kit based on their individual preferences and their employer's policies.
In return for a speaker's participation in the conference, Kanban India provides a complimentary registration pass. Speakers can collect their complimentary conference pass from the conference registration desk on the first day of the conference.
This complimentary conference pass is non-exchangeable and non-transferable.
All co-speakers, accompanying volunteers and speaker's guests must register as regular conference participants through the Kanban India website.
Invited Keynote Speakers may be provided reimbursement support to arrange travel and accommodation. This may include economical airfare expenses to reach the conference city or the nearest airport and up to two nights of accommodation in an executive hotel room at the conference venue or a nearby hotel during the conference.
Reimbursement is subject to the available conference budget and must be discussed and approved by the organizing team before any bookings are made. Kanban India is a community event with limited conference budgets, and only one or two such expense reimbursements may be accommodated.
Business-class travel is generally not approved unless exceptional circumstances arise, such as health conditions, long-distance travel, physical challenges or extended travel duration.
All approved reimbursement claims are processed after the conference, generally within 30 days of receiving all mandatory supporting documents, including air tickets, stamped visa, PAN, TRC and other documents required for Government of India, RBI and bank approval for remittance.
Speakers are responsible for applying for and arranging the appropriate visa required to travel to India. The organizer can provide an invitation letter upon request to support visa applications.
All speakers represent themselves and are responsible for delivering their presentations independently. Speakers are also required to adhere to the Code of Conduct Policy .
Before submitting a proposal or accepting and confirming an engagement with Kanban India, speakers are requested to read, validate and accept this policy.
Kanban India reserves the right to change, modify or amend this policy at any time at its sole discretion.
