Bio

Mihir Rao is a management consultant and Agile practitioner with 13+ years of experience in the IT/Software industry. Currently performing the role of an Agile Coach and Program Manager at LTIMindtree for digital transformation projects, he helps teams and clients adopt and implement agile principles and practices.

He is passionate about enabling collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement in the software development process. He also provides coaching services to LTIMindtree in-house project teams, helping their journey towards business agility.

Mihir leverages his skills and experiences acquired over the years working in various setups involving Scrum, Kanban, Agile-DevOps, and SAFe to deliver value to customers.

Continuous Improvement using Theory of Constraints

Overview

This session will give deep & practical insights on how multiple bottlenecks can be identified & eliminated using a management philosophy called as ‘Theory of Constraints’. A case study will be discussed where the entire system’s performance was improved step by step using systems thinking approach keeping The Kanban Method as its basis. This subject will also emphasize on how certain improvement efforts, if targeted at the pain area or on the constraint, will produce most significant results for the overall system eventually improving performance & promote continuous improvement.
