Swami Nityasthananda is a senior monk of Ramakrishna Math & Mission. Presently he is the Adhyaksha of Ramakrishna Math, Bengaluru. Earlier to this he was Adhyaksha Ramakrishna Mission Mysuru, Secretary Ramakrishna Mission, Davanagere.

He also served as on Acharya in Brahmacharis’ Training Centre for five years. He has written many books in Kannada, and translated many books Kannada, and translated many books from English to Kannada. He was also the first editor of Kannada monthly, Vivek Prabha. Several of his English and Kannada articles appeared in Prabuddha Bharata, Vedanta Kesari and other leading magazines.
